Ken Madden

One of the newest members of the North Texas Mercedes Benz club is a California transplant. Ken Madden made the decision to leave California and find a place with a less expensive lifestyle. He now calls McKinney, Texas his home.

Once he arrived in Texas, the Mercedes bug bit Ken. His dad had almost made a Mercedes European delivery purchase but decided, at the last moment, to buy a Volvo instead. Ken was determined not to make the same mistake. After a careful search, he selected a 2004 S500 sedan, Desert Silver with light tan interior with a mere 81,000 miles (barely broken in). He has had it for six months and has been delighted with its performance. This is a companion to Ken’s other car, an original 1989 Lincoln Towncar with 21,000 miles. Both cars receive fastidious attention.

Having been both a pilot and automotive technician, Ken has had a wealth of mechanical experience. His primary reason for joining the MBCA was to access technical information and advice. Once he read about the North Texas tech sessions, he immediately signed up and has been an active participant. He is looking forward to the member meetings and the social functions.
